Lindsay Mitchell, DDS, MS
Lindsay Mitchell worked her way through college as a Dental Assistant assisting the oral surgeon with daily procedures including IV sedation cases, extractions, bone augmentation, sinus lifts, and implant placement. While attending school she also served as a University at Buffalo Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. Her pre-doctoral clinical experience is comprised of clinic work in the Urgent Care Clinic at Erie County Medical Center and a preceptorship in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at ECMC.
Dr. Mitchell received the 2015 Erie County Chester Glor Award upon earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery with a concentration in periodontology at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. This award is given to a graduating dental senior who exemplifies the qualities of love of dentistry, collegiality and generosity to his colleagues and the community. She then spent her residency at Erie County Medical Center where she enhanced her skills working to provide dental care to long term and special needs patients.
Her community service includes work as a Volunteer Health Provider for the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation where she provided restorative dental care to enrolled patients under the supervision of staff dentists and performed select procedures in endodontics, fixed prosthodontics and oral surgery. Additionally, Lindsay served an 8-day stint providing extractions, and restorative dentistry to patients in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Mitchell is a member of the American Dental Association, the NYSDA, and the Eight District Dental Society. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets (aka “fur babies”) and she is an avid reader.
Christian Mitchell, DDS
Dr. Christian Mitchell is an accomplished graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and the recipient of the Pediatric and Community Dentistry Award. His residency was performed at the Buffalo Veterans Association Medical Center.
Dr. Mitchell is dedicated to sharing his skills in service to the community. He has volunteered his services for various outreach programs in Buffalo, the Rochester Special Olympics, the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, and he has also volunteered in Ghana and Mexico.
Beyond having obvious skills in the operatory, Dr. Mitchell has been honored for his prowess on the track and the football field. He was a 2009 Duke Scholar Athlete Award Winner and was inducted into the Sweet Home High School Sports Hall of Fame for both Football and Track in 2014.
Prior to establishing Lakeshore Dental Care with his wife, Dr. Lindsay Mitchell, Dr. Christian worked several years with Stellar Dental. Both partners are dedicated to providing an inviting patient-centered office where everyone is treated like family. The roster of patients who have followed this team into the new endeavor is a testament to the devotion and caring that both Doctors Christian and Lindsay Mitchell have for their patients and their staff.
Joseph DeLuca, DDS
We were honored to welcome Joseph T. DeLuca, DDS in August 2017. Dr. DeLuca practiced in Hamburg as a general dentist for over 10 years. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and the Director of the Preclinical Simulation Center. In these environments Joseph emerged as a leader for his students, colleagues and peers.
Dr. DeLuca's involvement in dentistry includes educational research and leading groups of students on dental mission trips. He is also on The Board of Trustees for the UB Dental Alumni Association and the Eighth District Dental Society. His dedication to the field of dentistry is present in his every endeavor. From the smallest volunteer services to his most impactful changes in academia, Joseph has already left his mark in the world of dentistry.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Canisius College in 2003, Dr. Deluca went on to earn his DDS from University at Buffalo in 2007. Joseph completed his residency and launched his career at one of Buffalo’s most prestigious medical institutions, Roswell Park Cancer Institute. It is truly our privilege to have Dr. Joseph T. Deluca as an Associate at Lakeshore Dental Care.

Office Manager
Striving to make a “dental home” for all our patients and employees is one of Ellen’s priorities as our Office Manager. She enjoys being able to help patients achieve their dental goals with individual treatment and payment plans, and helping them to work through insurance questions. Ellen is a problem solver and team leader who believes communication and hard work are the keys to success.

Insurance & Billing Specialist
With over 19 years experience in the dental field Lynn comes to us with a strong background in patient care. She is always ready to greet you with a smile and go above and beyond to help our patients figure out the intricacies of dental insurance. When not at work you'll find her at a hockey rink with her husband and son. She also loves to travel.
Alexis
Treatment Coordinator
Alexis joined the Lakeshore Dental Care family in 2022. She enjoys welcoming patients to the office and making them smile. Before joining us, Alexis worked in Data Annotation at a tech company, and has a degree in Psychology with Cognitive Science. Something surprising about her is that she has two cats, Preacher and Belle, even though she’s allergic! When she is not at the office, Alexis enjoys cooking and finding fun activities to do around Buffalo.
Casie Jo
Treatment Coordinator
Casie Jo joined our Lakeshore Dental Care family in 2020! She looks forward to meeting patients and add to the friendly atmosphere. Before joining Lakeshore Dental Care, Casie Jo worked in construction, as well as, the medical field at a Neurosurgery office. Something that surprises most people about Casie Jo is that she has a degree in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her dogs.

Ana brings 10 years of customer service experience to her job at Lakeshore Dental Care and has been a quick study of the dental world. The most enjoyable part of the dental field for Ana is when she can learn new things from x-rays! With a cat named Lucky to keep her company, Ana enjoys sewing and reading in her free time.

Carine has joined our team in 2018 with 15 years of experience caring for patients as a dental hygienist. She is passionate about creating a friendly atmosphere and helping patients feel comfortable. She enjoys building long lasting relationships with her patients. Outside of work Carine enjoys spending time with her family.

Hygienist
Always eager to improve the quality care she gives her patients, Sue was one of the first dental hygienists to pursue and receive her anesthesia certification. Working here full-time since 2008, our patients have benefited from her professionalism and extensive periodontal expertise. There certainly is no shortage of many very loyal “Sue” patients.

Emma joined the Lakeshore Dental Team in 2022, working part-time, and bringing 4 years of Dental Hygiene experience to our patients. Always a vibrant and caring hygienist, Emma strives to give her patients an enjoyable and comfortable visit! Truly enjoying getting to know her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals gives her great pleasure. Born and raised in Buffalo, Emma loves being a new mom, spending time with her family, and exploring the great outdoor adventures in and around Buffalo!

Hygienist
Starting as a Saturday only hygienist in 2018, and then a full-time hygienist, Dinna has had a career change and currently fills in when she can. We’re thankful that Dinna is always someone we can rely on! Dinna always strives to make her patients feel at ease, providing the highest standard of care for their overall health. When Dinna is not working, she enjoys kayaking in the summer and hanging out with her cat. Something you may not know about Dinna is that she is also a certified Dental Assistant.

Kaitlin's top priority when working with a patient is their comfort. With over two years of assisting experience, she enjoys helping each patient reach their oral health goals. Outside of the office, Kaitlin is also a kitchen manager and bar tender. She enjoys kayaking, camping, and going to concerts. Next time you see her in the office, be sure to ask about her boxer lab mix named 'Titan'!

With five years of dental experience, Tara joined the Lakeshore Dental Care family in October 2019. Tara loves getting to know her patients and making everyone smile. When Tara is not at the office, you can find her sky diving, scuba diving or going on adventures with her dogs! She is very outdoorsy and enjoys kayaking, camping, rafting and hiking!

DANB Certified Dental Assistant
Shannon has been assisting in the dental field since 2016 and DANB certified since 2021. Talkative and welcoming, she takes pride in assisting the doctors and helping patients achieve their oral health goals. Shannon loves Buffalo in the summer and enjoys being outside as much as possible. Next time you see her, be sure to ask about her pet hedgehog, Pickle!
